Butterfield Ranch Resort Activities

The Butterfield Ranch borders the beautiful and mystical Anza Borrego Desert State Park. A short drive from The Ranch will take you to the popular San Diegan towns of Julian and Borrego Springs.

Julian is a historic gold mining town and popular retreat area in San Diego County. It happens to be one of the few areas in Southern California that experience four seasons throughout the year. Julian is also famous for their apple pies, romantic atmosphere, antique shops, and historical museums.

Borrego Springs is a beautiful desert oasis with many activity options for the outdoor enthusiast. Golfing, hiking, biking, 4WD riding and several restaurants are all there for your enjoyment.

Both Julian and Borrego Springs are in close proximity to Butterfield Ranch and can be enjoyed year round.
